Good Enough

“It’s good enough” is one of those slippery phrases like “It is what it is.” It can be spoken to mask sloppy disrespect, in haste or out of carelessness. “It’s good enough” can also be said with satisfaction, or as a way not to succumb to the drive for perfection.

It’s a matter of intention.
Go with your best. Whatever it is. Whatever you do.
It’s good enough.

Well said. “Good enough” allows us to move on to new things w/o being mired in trying to fix the unfixable. It really helps when what we can’t seem to move on from is not within our power or even need to to change any. It gives meaning to the first part of the Serenity prayer, God grant me the serenity to accept those things I can’t (or need to) change.
